the home of Jimmy and Pete, K-Man and other memorable characters
David Watson Brown is the nom de plume of a Canadian writer of fiction and poetry
The name was selected in honour of the writer’s now deceased Mother who had wanted to name her son David and also told him many times, “son, you should be a writer”. David’s work was published in a collection of short stories called “Castles of Imagination Short Stories Anthology” produced by the International Poetry Fellowship.
David’s stories include a series that are part of a novel in-the-making called “Jimmy & Pete: Journey Round a Circle“; a collection related to music and musicians called “Blues and the Soulful Truth“; “Canadiana” Flash Fiction that tells stories of ordinary Canadians in extraordinary situations; and a collection of humour, “The K-Man Chronicles“, a semi-true anthology of the actual exploits, triumphs, disasters and follies of a group of semi-real golfers. Many of the stories have some level of basis in real life.
